2 groups delivered their final proposals today.
First to present were Caifang, Peijin and Yini. They presented on implementation of bicycle paths to ease traffic congestion, amongst other benefits. Cai fang showed great improvement from the dry run. She morphed from the childlike person into someone extremely professional, delivering a great and smooth introduction to the whole presentation. I believe this is what I have to learn from as well. Peijin improved a lot as she did not read from the screen as often as before. Though Yini still rattled away at the beginning, she still managed to capture her cool soon after. It was an enjoyable presentation overall.
The other group that presented was Nuri's group. They made improvements to their slides, defining the terms they intended to use throughout... it was a much clearer presentation as compared to their dry run. Kelvin was loud, clear and consize, while Nuri was persuasive, forceful and did not clear his throat anymore!
In a nutshell, both groups did exceptionally well, setting quite a high standard for the remaining 2 groups. Our presentation is next Monday, and we hope to do just as well.
Good job everyone!
Its so amazing to watch how we improve through ES2007S....
Hi Jacinth,
ReplyDeleteI actually felt that the content you delivered during the mock presentation was comprehensive and the pictures helped make the presentation more interesting. It did not appear very childish to me content-wise.
I think that the attire makes a great difference to the overall presentation as well. I'm sure you will dress formally for the actual presentation and this should make your presentation very professional and mature!
All the best!
Hi Jacinth!
ReplyDeleteThank you for your encouraging compliments. Do not worry, I believe you will do well for your presentation too.
I agree with Pei Jin whereby the attire determines the mood of the audience as well. No more little miss tees yeah! haha.
And remember to practice! it really helps. wish you all the best and cant wait to see you present on the day!
